INTERNATIONAL ADOPTEE MEMORIAL PARK
The In Between
Struggling with abandonment, an unknown and unreachable past, and the feeling of being stuck between two cultures creates the opportunity to translate a complex emotional landscape into a physical place. A journey through this memorial park reveals a landscape of celebration, contemplation of our own place in the world. Site features throughout the park consider communication and our connections to people from far away.

MID-REVIEW DESIGN

These mounds were not accessible and represented the unknowable and unreachable answers to questions of an adoptee's life.
